My Dad Was Never Really There – Nengi Opens Up

Rebecca Nengi Hampson, the third runner up of the just concluded Big Brother Naija Lockdown Season 5 has revealed in an interview that growing up she rarely saw her father.

In an interview with PunchNG, Nengi star disclosed that her father was “really never there” for her for most of her childhood and that she spent most of it with her mother, adding that her mother was really the one looking after her till she grew up.

“My dad was never really there. I can count the number of times I saw him. So I grew up with my mother and she was the only one I knew.

She struggled to take care of me but the love between us is deep. Even when we didn’t have anything, I was always happy. We would be in our house and manage our lives.

However, she died when things were becoming good” beautiful reality TV explained.
