Ghana’s all time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan and his brother, Baffour Gyan have been reported to the Ghana Police after assaulting a tennis opponent on Wednesday according to report reaching Marriage-chronicles.com
Mr Godwin Martey, who is the CEO of Websoft Solution accused the former captain of Ghana and his brother of assaulting him at a Tennis game.
Speaking with Joy FM, Martey, who filed a police report against Asamoah Gyan and his brother said Baffour Gyan was officiating the game in favor of his brother.
At a point, Mr Martey who felt uncomfortable with Baffour Gyan’s officiation said he lodged a complain but Baffour Gyan yelled at him.
“My friend shut up and stand there and play,” he said were the words of Gyan.
Well, Mr Martey said he decided to quit the game and that eventually infuriated the brothers hence assaulting him.

“Then he came down and came to hit me that ‘my friend go there, I say go and play’. He was hitting me to go and play.” He narrated.
“As he was hitting me, Asamoah Gyan came in support of what Baffour was doing, assaulting me.”
Mr. Godwin Martey disclosed he will be suing the brothers for the assault and has already reported to the Cantoments Police.
“I’m suing big time. I’m going to sue…The fact that Baffour threw a challenge to me that I can go to any court, any police station, they can’t do anything, that actually gave me more space to prove to them that the police force is still a good force,” He concluded.
