Woman allegedly tries to sell her one-week-old baby to buy herself new pair of shoes for her own use.
Over the weekend, Marriage-chronicles.com came across this bizarre incident of a mother who was arrested in Moscow, Russia, after she was caught trying to sell her newborn daughter on the black market for £3,000.
Luiza Gadzhieva, 25, said she was seeking adoptive parents but was caught in a sting operation after accepting £3,000 for the child when cops posed as potential buyers.
Earlier, Gadzhieva discussed with her sister how she had chosen a new pair of boots to buy once she sold the baby, it was revealed.
Before police intervened, anti-slavery group Alternativa tried to persuade the 25-year-old not to sell the one-week old girl.

“We tried in every way possible to explain to her that bad, dangerous conditions awaited the child,” said the group.
“The height of cynicism was her correspondence with her sister, who knew about everything, and with whom the child’s mother discussed what boots she will buy for herself and selling the child,” they said.
Mum of three Gadzhieva reportedly told a potential buyer that she wanted to use the cash for a deposit on a home.
