The brother of the late Chadwick Boseman, who died in August of colon cancer has shared the heartbreaking final conversation he had with the late actor.
The brother, Derrick, who is a pastor regularly called to pray for him. Speaking in an interview with the New York Times, recounted how what Chadwick said to him one particular day changed his prayer.
“Man, I’m in the fourth quarter, and I need you to get me out of the game,” he said. This changed Derrick’s prayer from ‘God heal him, God save him,’ to ‘God, let your will be done. He passed the day after.

Chadwicks Boseman struggled with stage four cancer for about four years until his sad passing in August of 2020.
