Desperate hunt for three kids aged 3, 5, 6, snatched by dad from foster home in knifepoint abduction

COPS have launched a frantic hunt for three young kids snatched from their foster home at knifepoint by their dad.

Imran Safi, 26, burst into the home in Coulsdon, South London, and attacked the terrified foster mum.

He then snatched Bilal, six, Ebrar, five, and three-year-old Yaseen before fleeing in a red Nissan Qashqai.

The foster mum was left “shaken” after being threatened with a knife – with cops believing Afghan national Safi has fled the country with the boys.

But there are also fears the children could be “stashed” away somewhere in London.

Two women and six men who are all members of Safi’s family have been arrested and later released on bail.

Safi was last seen on Thursday in the Nissan on Coulsdon Road at around 6pm.

Scotland Yard have now launched an urgent appeal for information and are concerned over the boys’ “welfare”.

Speaking at a press briefing today, Commander Jon Savell said one “motive” for the kidnapping is that the three children were due to be formally adopted.

Hundreds of officers are now involved with the search and are in contact with the boys’ mum.

The dad had regular visits with the children still, the Met confirmed.

Commander Jon Savell, said: “Our absolute priority at this moment in time is the welfare of these three children.

“They have been taken from a place of safety and we are growing increasingly concerned about their wellbeing, particularly as we remain in the midst of a global health crisis.

“While we do not believe at this time there is any immediate risk to their physical safety, their location, access to accommodation, healthcare, and other provisions is entirely unknown. We are concerned about the longer term impact of this on all three children.”

Anyone who has seen the dad and children or saw the red Nissan – number plate PK12 WFO – should call police.
