Hello Marriage-Chronicles.com, I’ll like to write on the near death experience I once had.
Started national service (NYSC) and it wasn’t long before I met a lady I proposed to. After a few days I invited her over to spend the night with me.
I sprayed the room with some sweet scented fragrance and perfumes – you know how guys maintain their rooms when they’re expecting a female visitor for the first time.
She came around 7pm and we decided to go to a pub for some drinks and later return home.
We came back home around 10pm, shagged and went to bed. Around 1:00am I realised my lady was tossing on bed and hitting me with her legs, when I woke up, I saw she was finding it difficult to breath. She had an asthmatic attack. Her breathing produced some nasal sounds and she couldn’t answer my questions.
She never told me she was asthmatic. She didn’t bring her inhaler and pharmacies were closed at that rime. Then my mom’s advice started ringing in my ears. “Stay away from ladies and finish your service in peace”.
I was so confused. I had to wake my neighbour who had a motorbike to help rush my girl to the hospital. We got there (emergency ward) and she was given some” drip shots” which calmed her down. I was asked to go home and return the next day for her.
I later got to know the perfume in my room triggered her attack and she refused to tell me she was allergic to such.
Since that incident, I vowed never to “camp” any lady unless I got married to her.
