I was in love with him and was doing everything right to deserve to be his girlfriend. Just a little misunderstanding he decided to quit the relationship and leave me lonely. I spent days and weeks pleading with him, begging him not to leave me. He said “No”. He said “I can never forgive what you did”. I cried, I knelt to beg and he kept saying No to me.
Even when I stopped calling, I was still entertaining the hope that one day he will pick up the and call to tell me he’s forgiven my ‘sin’, so let’s come back together. That never happened. Slowly I healed and slowly I moved on.
Someone came along and slowly I warmed up to him. This someone is rocking my world. He is giving me all the attention and care I need and I’ve started to question myself why I held on so long for what wasn’t working.
Out of nowhere, when everything is going on just fine with me and my current boyfriend, this Ex who ignored my tears appeared asking me back. Like he’s now realized his mistakes and will do everything to have me back. When I’ve moved on oooo. This has happened to me thrice and I’m wondering why men always come back when they see you are doing well without them.
Why leave only to appear later begging to be reconsidered?
Marriage Chronicles: What kind of misunderstanding is strong enough to make a guy who truly loves you to quit the relationship? Men mostly close up their minds when their ladies cheat. Cheating is very difficult for men to forgive and if this was what the misunderstanding is, then know that he will always remember and may use it against you later.
So it is advisable you stay in your present relationship and never accept your Ex back. He may be coming now because you look prettier and better than he left you but after a while he may leave you again when he’s done enjoying the new you.
Also, you need to be careful to avoid history repeating itself with your current relationship, owing to the fact that your Exes always leave you the same way. Maybe you need to figure out why your boyfriends left you without trying to work things out with you. It may be a spiritual or a habitual matter.
There is the tendency that this happy relationship may end in tears again if you don’t fight what is driving the men away. Good Luck!
