When I met my Ex, it wasn’t my intention to cheat on her. She was everything I wanted in a woman so I never looked at another lady while with her.
I was my somewhere and she connived with her friend to tempt me if I truly love her or not. I failed the first Test she conducted on me but passed all tests after.
I am a man and not a womanizer but; who tempts a Lion with Fresh Meat?
Her last temptation is what triggered the said friend to find interest in me. She knew her friend was cheating on me and I was also aware but I wasn’t going to cheat just because my girl was cheating then.
This friend of her’s gradually started visiting us and all of a sudden was nice and will visit and stay on weekends. Sad part was, Ex was always discussing our sex life with this Bestie of hers.
She trusted her Bestie to tempt me but her Bestie wasn’t there that day to tempt me. She was rather there for practicals. I am not a wood and I can’t pass every exam.
So on that faithful day, I wasn’t thinking. Reason I even left the door unlocked and ended up being caught. She did not break up with me because she realized she wasn’t perfect either.
I and my Ex are still in touch but she won’t be seeing me in person for this anymore.
Marriage Chronicles: Most times the test of true has ended up destroying the trust and love of the relationship that has lasted well enough to in peace and harmony.
Not every failed examination was a true test of knowledge, and failing a test doesn’t make one a failure in that issue of life. So I will advise that if spouses must test each other, they shouldn’t end up destroying a relationship that was meant to be great and enviable……the test may just not be necessary after all. That people passed a test of true love today doesn’t mean they won’t fail others in future…….vice versa.
